Summary: Great Home Theater For the Price
Comment: I say nice home theater for the price but it is really pretty much just great. Nice quality, looks nice, great sound quality. Running my blue ray player through the HDMI switcher, works great, beautiful picture reproduction on the LED TV. Initially had a little trouble getting it set up- kept shutting itself off every few minutes. I thought there was a defect with the unit, but I just had a couple wires crossed on one the speakers, causing a short. Once I found, diagnosed and fixed, good to go.
A little tricky getting the speakers calibrated properly. Used the enclosed microphone which helped, but for some reason the center channel speaker wasn't firing. Had to do a custom tweak to get it turned on. Still having some problems with the center channel sound (dialogue a bit hard to make out), but am confident I can get it right with a bit more tweaking.
Instruction manual is long and only so-so in terms of clarity. As mentioned, plan to spend a little time getting things set up- depending on your level of expertise you may need to keep your wits about you.
I'm a tough grader- only perfect products get 5 stars from me, but this one is pretty close. If it had a better instruction manual and a more intuitive interface I'd give it the 5 stars. That said, with the exception of a somewhat tricky set up, this unit is first rate.

Summary: great htib- recommended
Comment: now that ive finally set up my basement HT system let me review the onkyo6200.
i'm using it in a 5.1 mode with no rear speakers only front LR, center & Surround LR & Sub Woofer. the initial set up microphone did not work. then i realized the rear speakers were not in rear positions but in surround positions. once i let the system know that , things were a breeze.
if you can use the provided cables as is , they r color coded. I didn't.
had to buy extra monster cable for the rear speakers as ones in the box were not long enough.
ive connected my blu- ray, cablebox, laptop, dvd through HDMI to projector.
would appreciate multiple Hdmi output to connect multiple displays
cables are thin enough to push under base board.
only wish there was technology to convert component to Hdmi. i would not have to run an extra component cable to projector from the Wii
the tuner mic could use some longer wire.
all in all a good product

Summary: Amazing HTB system.
Comment: Pros: Amazing sound for the money, easy setup and speaker configuration, loud, clear, sleek.
Cons: Not much at all. I am about 7 days into ownership and cannot find one thing I do not love about it.
BEST PART: the ipod dock.. oh my. This is an amazing added bonus. My ipod touch has been in near 24/7 usage. Streaming Pandora via the ipod dock is something to behold. Being able to switch between playlists with the remote is just another perk that makes me happy.
I am very happy with this system and highly recommend it. For the price, its probably the best you can get with the options it gives you.

Summary: A short, concise review
Comment: This HTIB is nothing short of amazing. The most important aspect t of any home theater is the sound and it does not disappoint. The sound is crisp and clear; the lows are deep, the highs are precise. I've watched movies, caught baseball games on cable and have listened to plain old FM radio and CD's. All have been a pleasure to listen to on this system. The optional placement (high front or rear behind) of the 2 add'l speakers for the 7.1 setup was a big help as was the Audessy automatic setup. Over all it's a very great system for a very reasonable price. Just make sure you don't spend more than $550 for it because the price goes up when Amazon runs out of it. I have not experienced any problems that others have reported.

Summary: Best receiver you can find for the money.
Comment: This receiver is awesome, hooked up my cable, PS3, computer and the Ipod dock rocks. The only problem I'm having is with neighboors, the sub was better than expected. It kicks and shakes the house. Just a little tip... BUY IT NOW!
